On November 9, the exchange program between Temasek Polytechnic and Nong Lam University, HCMC was held at Cat Tuong auditorium. Mr. Loh Han Liat, Mrs. Sakinah Binte Mulyana along with 30 students from Tematek Polytechnic (Singapore delegation) were warmly welcomed by Associate Professor, Doctor Phan Tai Huan - Dean of the Faculty and lecturers and students from CEFT, Nong Lam Univesity.
In this event, many interesting activities was organized to students from Singapore and CEFT could exchange cultures, learn from each other and share experiences. Associate Professor Phan Tai Huan, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Food Technology, delivered a speech introducing the history of Nong Lam University, HCMC, and the study programs. As the representative of Temasek Polytechnic, Mr. Loh Han Liat introduced Singapore and his thoughts about this exchange program. The beautiful orchids and bouquets of flowers that Associated Professor Phan Tai Huan and Mr. Loh Han Liat received were a mark for the establishment of the potential partner relationship.
The most interesting parts of this exchange program were the concise presentation about the study environment in Singapore and the group singing performance from students of Temasek Polytechnic. Besides, all the students in the program had chances to participate in fantastic games that strengthened the bond between the two countries.
At the end of this event, the Temasek Polytechnic delegation had a tour around the campus of Nong Lam University, HCMC, as well as the laboratories in Cam Tu building, Faculty of Chemical Technology and Food Technology.
Overall, the exchange was a great success and left a wonderful impression on everyone involved. It is hoped that the bond between the two institutions will continue to strengthen even further.
