INTRODUCTION |
The Quality Assurance Division of the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Technology belongs to Nong Lam University, Hochiminh City, was established under the Decision No. 3324/QD-ĐHNL-TCCB signed on November 4, 2020 by the President.
The Quality Assurance Division was established to enhance the implementation of quality improvement in training, doing research, operating, and transferring scientific knowledge and technology at the Faculty; ensure fulfillment of the quality requirements from all parties.
FUNCTION |
‒ The Quality Assurance Division was established to advise and assist the Faculty Board and members as well as other university campuses in terms of quality assurance related to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes with different education models as Twinning programme, High quality programme, and Advanced programme; scientific research and transferable technology.
‒ Propose and coordinate with the University to implement solutions to support and improve the quality of education in the Faculty and the University, and which contributes to the implementation of the mission and strategic development objectives of the Faculty and the University;
‒ Connect with governing offices, domestic and foreign partners in different activities of education quality assurance.
MISSION |
1. Implement legal documents, guidelines on education quality assurance issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and notified by the University;
2. Develop and cooperate with departments in the Faculty to deploy and conduct self-assessment and external assessment according to educational quality assurance standards in Vietnam and overseas;
3. Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of the Faculty's internal quality assurance system, specifically:
a) Plan and assign lecturers and relevant departments of the Faculty to implement and control the development of programme specification, course syllabus, and programme matrix approach; develop procedures for each activity at the Faculty;
b) Plan and assign lecturers, relevant departments of the Faculty to develop procedures in implementing and controlling functional activities of the Faculty such as scientific research and international cooperation; student orientation; management of assets and facilities; personnel management and administrative office;
c) Record and manage documents of self-assessment; regularly update the evidence according to the University's quality assurance standards;
d) Monitor, evaluate and analyze the results of the assessments; report and recommend adjustments in resources and implementation processes to meet quality assurance objectives;
4. Control the self-assessment and quality assurance of the Faculty; connect with domestic and international educational quality assurance organizations to conduct quality assessment and assurance according to the University's plan.
5. Coordinate with the University in performing tasks related to quality assurance;
6. Report periodically on the results of quality assurance work as required.
