On the morning of March 18, 2023, a solemn graduation ceremony was held for 24 graduates of the Advanced Program in Food Technology at the Cat Tuong Auditorium, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City University. The ceremony left an unforgettable impression on all who attended. 
The Advanced Program in Food Technology is the first and only advanced program in the Food Technology field that has been authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training to collaborate with the University of California, Davis, USA, for training purposes. Additionally, it is the first and one of two advanced programs taught entirely in English at Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City University since 2008. 
As of 2022, Nong Lam University - Ho Chi Minh City University has successfully trained 15 batches of students in the Advanced Program in Food Technology. Today marks the graduation of Batch 10 (year 2017 - 2023) of the advanced program. This occasion also commemorates the program's 5th year of receiving the AUN-QA certification for training.
At the graduation ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Vice President of the university, shared his congratulations with the new graduates, saying that today's graduation marks a significant milestone in their long journey. However, this is not the end goal. The graduates have completed this phase and embarked on a new journey. They should have confidence in themselves, live with their own passions and aspirations.
 
Professor Glenn Young (representing theUniversity of California, Davis, USA) also sends his congratulations to the new graduates. You, dear new students, have tirelessly exerted great efforts in the past years and your hard work has paid off. This marks a new beginning in your lives. Four years of schooling is a long enough time to recognize the maturity of an individual in terms of character and knowledge. Ahead of you is a brand-new journey with many new challenges, and I wish for you to always stay strong and resilient. I hope that you will become leaders in your future careers and bring the field of food technology to new levels.
  
Associate Professor Dr. Phan Tai Huan, the Dean of the Faculty, presented the report summarizing the training and graduation process as of early 2023. To achieve the accomplishments of today, we sincerely thank the university leadership for creating favorable conditions for our teachers, lecturers, and staff to fulfill the academic tasks assigned to each team and individual. The Faculty of Chemical Engineeringand Food Technology has always accompanied our students in their academic and spiritual life, constantly improving the quality of teaching staff and facilities to ensure the quality of education and create many job opportunities for our students after graduation.
 Also on this occasion, Dao Ha Uyen - the top student of the 10th cohort, has expressed gratitude on behalf of all new graduates to all the teachers who have always accompanied, supported, and imparted knowledge and skills to help them have more tools to adapt to the job market in any position.
 Fifteen years may not be a very long journey, but it is certainly a process that has many memorable milestones and certain achievements. Throughout this journey, there has been the tireless efforts of many individuals in the field of education to continue the 68-year-old tradition of Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City. Hopefully, these will be memories that will not fade for today's new students. Once again, congratulations to the 24 new students of the Advanced Program in Food Technology for completing their mission at the university level. I wish you all continued success and to soar even further on your journey.
