On 29/11/2022, Kewpie Vietnam company and Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City organized a practical experience day for students of Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology.
Attending the experience were Mr. Yanagita Kenji (factory director), Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Dung (sales director), Mr. Le Viet Quy, Ms. Tran Mong Tuyen, Ms. Hoai Van (Support Factory tour), Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung (QA/QC Kewpie), with MSc. Nguyen Thi Phuoc Thuy, MSc. Le Thi Thanh and 24 students from Faculty.
Kewpie Group was founded by Mr. Nakashima Touichiro in 1919 in Japan with the main product of Mayonnaise sauce, which has quickly been trusted by many housewives and chosen for family meals. Kewpie Vietnam Company was built in 2011, is the 7th branch of Kewpie in the world, equipped with production process with modern semi-industrial technology and equipment, ensuring a system of standards to ensure food safety and hygiene according to HACCP standards to always bring customers the best products.
The students and lecturers of Faculty had the opportunity to visit the mayonnaise production process and enjoy the dishes using the sauce. Questions from students about the company's production process and products as well as some of the content that students are most interested in, are graduate internships and future job opportunities. Company representative answered in detail. At the same time, the company also held a mini-game with interesting questions and received the enthusiastic participation of students.
Organizing field trips at enterprises can be considered as a bridge between enterprises and schools, developing relationships to achieve the common goal of creating conditions for students to acquire knowledge and skills. Practical skills – an important foundation for future career development.
